Background and Experience:

Elizabeth began her legal career in New York City in 1992, where she worked in the Legal Department of the Bank of New York. At the Bank of New York, she assisted bank clients that were factoring their receivables as collateral for loans, and she was responsible for their UCC filings, security agreements, and other collateralization documents. In 1993, Elizabeth joined the in-house Legal Department of Prudential Securities, a Wall Street brokerage firm. At Prudential Securities she was responsible for matters involving the firm's compliance with an SEC mandated settlement regarding limited partnership interests sold by the firm in the 1980's. Beginning in 1996 through 2000, Elizabeth worked as a partner at Kirshenbaum & Kirshenbaum, PLLC, a New York City based corporate/real estate boutique law firm, where she handled general corporate and business matters, commercial real estate, and contractual matters.
